Takashi is responsible for marketing at Rakuten Travel, which is part of Japan’s largest e-commerce company “Rakuten”. The Rakuten Ecosystem is formed by various services offered by Rakuten Group, which is a one-of-a-kind member-based business model that connects Rakuten services through the Rakuten Super Points reward system. The Ecosystem includes ICHIBA, Travel, Internet Finance (Card, Bank, Securities), Digital Content (Kobo), and Digital Services (Viber, Ebates). In his role as general manager for Marketing, he manages all Rakuten Travel’s marketing actions (Brand, Online marketing, Membership, Partnership, Content marketing). Under his leadership, Rakuten Travel keeps continuous growth.
