Sunny Rao

Sunny Rao is Vonage’s Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific region (APAC). With more than 20 years of experience as a global information technology leader, Sunny brings vast experience and deep expertise in the global expansion of emerging technologies to Vonage and oversees the Company’s strategic efforts in all of APAC. 

Prior to joining the Company, Sunny served as Vice President for India & the Middle East at Vidyo, Inc. He has also held senior executive positions at software companies Nuance Communications and Genesys Telecommunications, as well as Avaya, a global business technology provider.

Sunny is an experienced Senior Executive in the Software, Telecoms & Services Industries; both in P&L accountable roles, and in Global/Matrix Organizations. He has excellent international experience, spanning North America, Greater China, Australia,Southeast Asia and India with  revenue and general management responsibilities.
