Subbu is the founder & CEO of China Trading Desk - a marketing technology company enabling brands & agencies to advertise in China. Having worked across digital marketing & advertising space for several years, he saw a big gap in both understanding and effective marketing to Chinese by non-resident brands. The extreme pace of change within China marketing landscape, the local nuances and preferences of Chinese consumer made it an exciting frontier to master and help brands engage effectively. After the buyout of the company, he renamed it to China Trading Desk providing easy & transparent access to Chinese media and built a research & insights desk to empower international marketers with deep insights from behind the great firewall. Prior to China Trading Desk, he worked across several industries including Ad tech, Hospitality, Pharmaceutical, FMCG & technology.
