Richard Engelmann

Currently supporting Japan Airlines as regional vice president of sales for Asia, India and Oceania, Richard began his aviation career with British Airways, progressing through a graduate overseas development programme that would set him on a path to over 38 years living and working in International markets. Across 23 countries, he has enjoyed 25 years in commercial aviation, 5 years in hospitality and 6 years in global aviation IT. A personable builder of multi-cultural relationships both in business and personally, he is a firm believer that the future success of air travel lies in Tech and significant investments in creating a sustainable industry for future generations. He is looking forward to joining a panel of industry colleagues who share in that aspiration.
