Oliver Dlouhý

Oliver Dlouhy, 29, had the bright idea of 'virtual interlining' when he was searching for cheap and easily connectable flights to Portugal whilst still a student. He couldn't find what he was looking for so he created a search engine to do just that. he created Kiwi.com to combine airlines that don't usually cooperate with each other. Just over five years later Kiwi.com is considered one of the most innovative travel tools in the industry.

Oliver attended and dropped out of University several times over. "I don´t regret it. During lectures I was bored and spent the time reading blogs about business; I was always impatient to get something of my own started,” Oliver remembers. In 2012 Kiwi.com was born and, almost immediately, became known as one of the most useful intuitive websites for serious travellers. Nowadays, Kiwi.com is considered one of the most innovative global travel tools in the business, and Oliver as a visionary. 

Kiwi.com was recently named the fastest-growing technology company in Central Europe at Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Central Europe. Oliver Dlouhy was also recognized by Forbes in their annual 30 under 30 - the ones to watch.
