Hailing from a small town in the US, Michaellyn Gruenewald has over two decades of expertise in the airline industry, with a solid foundation in sales and marketing. She has vast international work experience in various countries, such as Norway, Germany, Switzerland, China and the United States. She dedicated several years to global sales for the Lufthansa Group, where she catered to the demands of elite customers and forged strategic alliances with joint venture partners such as United Airlines, Air Canada, Air China and Singapore Airlines. She currently holds the position of Head of LHG Global Marketing B2C Strategy and Standards, where she oversees MarTech tools and processes for the Lufthansa Group airlines to optimize business results. She leads a team based in Frankfurt, Zurich, and Vienna who are responsible for global communication content and planning, steering the global media agency, optimizing marketing investments based on multi-touch attribution, and monitoring global marketing KPI performance. Her commitment to excellence and innovation has been instrumental in steering the Lufthansa group towards a future where digital marketing is not just a tool, but a strategic asset.
