Michael Marshall

Michael Marshall heads the disciplines of Sales, Marketing, PR and Revenue, ECommerce & Distribution for MHG (including the Anantara, Avani, NH, Tivoli and Oaks brands). With a proven track record in hospitality Sales and Marketing, Mr. Marshall started his career in the industry in the late 80’s, joining InterContinental Hotel Group in 1989, where he stayed until 2005. During this time he progressed through individual hotel roles, held several Regional Marketing and Sales positions and then became Director of Marketing Programmes for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a position he held for four years. In 2005 after 16 years, Mr. Marshall left the InterContinental Hotel Group, working firstly as a marketing consultant within the industry, then in senior Sales & Marketing positions for several hotel groups including Rotana Hotels & Resorts where he was Vice President Sales & Marketing. He joined Minor Hotel Group as Senior Vice President Commercial Operations in early 2012 from Millennium Hotels & Resorts where he was Vice President Sales & Marketing for the Middle East and Africa, based in Abu Dhabi. In March 2014 he was promoted to his current position of Chief Commercial Officer for the group.
