Karthick Prabu

Karthick heads strategy for Cleartrip. In his role, he is responsible for defining and executing strategic initiatives that accelerate growth. He has been in the travel technology industry for 17 years and he has worked with various travel brands such as Treebo Hotels, Sabre, IDS Next, and others. In the past, he has been a product management leader where he helped launch products that solve pain points for customers, increase revenue, launched industry first products such as a tablet-based property management system and got one of the apps featured in the "Best In India'' category in Apple Appstore & Google Play store. As an entrepreneur, he started a travel tech media and sold it to Tnooz (now Phocuswire). On the personal front, Karthick is a Kannada boy hailing from Tamil Nadu and married to a Telugu girl hailing from Karnataka. With respect to hobbies and interests, he loves to be on wheels for as long as possible exploring local cuisines and cultures at the same time, sometimes venturing into safe adventures like 'King Cobra Exploration' in dense forests of Agumbe, blogging about travel, being a part time movie buff and enjoying free time playing various games with family.
