Regional Vice President, Digital, ASPAC Region Hyatt Hotels
Jonathan Liu is responsible for the overarching digital strategy for Hyatt Hotels in the Asia Pacific region, ex-China. This includes performance digital marketing, social media, e-Commerce, digital content management, translation and product localization, all aimed at increasing digital visibility for all revenue streams at the hotels (rooms, F&B and events). Prior to joining Hyatt in January 2020, he served as the Managing Director for MRM//McCann, a global digital agency part of McCann Worldgroup and Interpublic Group, where he was responsible for the Hong Kong business which comprised of +60 staff supporting clients including Google, Estee Lauder, ETS, Shangri-La, Cathay Pacific, and Unilever. He has also served in senior digital roles with EveryMundo, a travel-tech SaaS company supporting airlines, IPG Mediabrands, Neo@Ogilvy, and Hotels.com part of Expedia Group. Born and raised in the US, he has lived in Hong Kong since 2008.
