Assistant General Manager, Digital Experience Innovation Airport Authority Hong Kong

Starting her career in the banking industry, Gigi has later joined the travel and aviation fields with over 15 years of experience at the Hong Kong International Airport. Being a certified Scrum Master and trained in user experience/ interface design, she has actively involved in mobile app experience design and development, planning and launch new passenger services, and digitally transform operation or service management processes into systems. As a member of HKU Master of Science in E-commerce and Internet Computing alumni, Gigi continues to work with different stakeholders and partners on technology applications, digital businesses and services as well as digital marketing. Gigi has planned and launched the airport’s first real-time Trolley Supply Monitoring System with AI-based video content analytics, in collaboration with Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM R&D Centre), for enhancing service quality and passenger experience. She also leads the enhancement and launch of the airport’s “HKG My Flight”, and the later new “My HKG” mobile app. She is also managing different passenger-facing digital platforms or systems, striving to innovate by technology in user-centric approach.
