David Yong

As Airbnb’s Supply and Business Operations Lead in APAC, David leads a regional team responsible for finding great hosts and helping them list their beautiful homes and unique accommodations on Airbnb.  

David has over 15 years of experience in the digital travel space at OTAs, travel media companies, and airlines. Prior to Airbnb, David was the Commercial Director for Flights at TripAdvisor, where he led growth and strategic partnerships across APAC. He also held the role of Head of Product for Expedia, where he localised and launched Expedia’s award-winning mobile apps across Asia. Prior to moving to Singapore, David was with a travel start-up in New York City that was acquired by Travelocity, where he led the last-minute business unit and the expansion into emerging markets in Latin America and APAC.
