Alan Liu

Alan joined Grab in 2015 and is currently Head of Regional Business Development for GrabRewards within GrabPay.  

Alan has had extensive travel experience. Previously, Alan was the Director and Head of Sales, ASEAN at American Express.  He has a strong travel background with both GDS and TMC experience and a proven track record for growing businesses through client acquisitions. Prior to American Express, Alan was with RADIUS Travel where he held the position of Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific.  As a member of RADIUS’ executive management team, he was responsible for all the agency network, corporate client acquisition and supplier relationships.      

Prior to RADIUS, Alan was based in Singapore with Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) where he was Director of Global Strategic Planning.  At CWT, he had global responsibilities for the strategic planning and prioritization of the Traveler and Transaction Services group.  He has also worked for Travelport and Worldspan in business development capacities since 2004. Additionally he has worked within the financial services industry with significant experience in investment banking having worked for global institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.  Alan has sound international business experience having previously been based in Hong Kong and New York.
